Potret is an Indonesian old-fashioned term for a photograph, an image taken with a tustel (an analog camera) to preserve memories of loved ones and memorable events. This book presents images taken to portray people, moments, and situations that are special and close to the photographer’s heart.
Visual appearance is always more powerful for conveying a story, as it easily preserved in one’s memory.
