A Small Fragment from Deeper Parts of Indonesia.
In many literary works, we can interpret ‘siasah’ as our way to cope with the new environment and social changes. Not only to survive but also to strive. The word ‘siasah’ has always been crossing in my mind ever since I started a project with the Global Environment Facility – Small Grants Programme (the GEF-SGP) in 2017.
In 2021, upon completion of all activities in the GEF SGP program, there are a lot of visual documentation, especially photos, which become a part of knowledge management during 2017–2020. These thousands of photo documentation has initiated an idea to make a book about traditional knowledge and local food.
